well. wasn't that interesting?

just got back from the doctors. he couldnt tell me anything.

I guess i should explain myself.

waaaaay back in febuary/march time, i started getting alot of water infections, and i had all the symptoms - intense pain, hot and cold, hurts when i pee, and blood in my urine. however, everytime i had a water test done, it kept coming back saying "no bacteria found". which was strange.

so, after a lenghty chat with my doc, he suggested going for an ultrasound scan on my kidneys @ welwyn garden city hospital, the QE2. Which i did, almost 3 weeks ago now. While i was there, they found a growth the size of a golf ball on my right ovary. However, they refused to tell me anything, so all i knew was that there was a huge thing on me and i didnt have the foggiest what it was.

i looked it up on the internet and it could be anything, including:

- a harmless cyst
-Endometriosis
-Poly-cystic ovaries

or, the big one:

Cancer.

so, i waited for the results to get sent back to my doc, and i went in today to have a chat and find out what was going on. and once again, he couldnt tell me anything. all he said was "it could be a cyst, but im not certain". he did an internal exam (which i have never had before - not as bad as i thought, but still majorly uncomfortable!) and he said he could feel it.

so the upshot is, i have to go and have cameras inserted so they can find out a bit more about this thing thats growing inside me.

i feel like i'm in an Alien film!!

and im scared shitless, to be honest.

but, im going to Liam's soon, (my loverly boyfriend) and he's taking me out for dinner, and tommorow we're going to his cousins wedding, so hopefully i can just concentrate on having a good time, and forget everything. im just gonna get to Liam's, crash on his bed and not move for as long as possible i think!!
